IQxel™ is the first stand-alone tester (OBT) for 802.11ac devices. The rugged design makes it easy to deploy in high-volume equipment manufacturing environments. Because the compact 2U high chassis does not require an external PC for processing, IQxel has the fastest and simplest factory inspection capability; it adopts standard Gigabit Ethernet communication, built-in Web-based graphical user interface and SCPI-compatible control commands.

IQxel also extends measurement reliability and customer trust to newer 802.11ac devices. IQxel is supported by local LitePoint personnel in major global manufacturing centers, and can provide real-time customer support and equipment services when necessary. LitePoint has a link library of more than 300 IQfact™ chipset test solutions to ensure that customers can obtain suite software solutions for advanced online-capable chipset solutions from major suppliers for calibration and verification.
Seamless transition from LitePoint 802.11n tester to 802.11ac testing
IQxel can reuse the existing test scripts and software of LitePoint's industry-standard WLAN/Bluetooth testers (including IQview®, IQflex® and IQ201X™). IQxel can quickly and easily switch to 802.11ac testing, while ensuring that the previous 802.11 a/b/g/n test procedures can be executed on IQxel without rewriting the software. Users can easily complete the system transfer, test the new 802.11ac device, and use the previously written test program or LitePoint's extensive IQfact™ chipset calibration and verification software link library. IQxel allows users to choose to develop test software in the Windows® C/C++ API environment or using the Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments (SCPI) interface. The SCPI interface provides an interface independent of the operating system and can easily interface with scripting languages such as Python. Using the available software libraries provided by LitePoint, languages such as LabVIEW® also support graphical programming.
